Our 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes starts with a morning departure at 8 am. We set out on a scenic journey through the Middle Atlas. We passed through Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland. Our next stop is Azrou and the Cedar forest. It is home to the Barbary Macaques, the only ones of their kind outside Asia. Then we proceed to Medilt, where we will have our lunch, before our drive towards the Erg Chebbi dunes. As we leave Medilt, the sub-Saharan land unfolds. Soon, we reach Merzouga, known as the "desert door." where we'll change our vehicle for camels to set out on a mesmerizing camel ride. The day concludes with a wonderful night in the tranquility of the desert. Supper and overnight stay are inside the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy live Berber drum music, a bonfire, and a starry night in Merzouga.

On the second day of our short desert tour, we woke up early to see the stunning sunrise atop the dunes. Then, we took a scenic camel ride back to the hotel. After a hearty breakfast with steaming hot coffee, we began our journey back to Fes. And we will pause for a delightful lunch in the "capital of apples," Midelt. After that, we will again cross the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. We will pass through Ifrane, and then reach Fes by early evening.
