You leave your 2-day desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora from your hotel or riad early, around 07h30. First, you will drive through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m alt) and cross various Berber villages on the way. There will be stops to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and sip mint tea. You can stretch your legs too. Upon arrival at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy a short visit. This world heritage site was a set for Hollywood epics like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. We will organize a guided hour-long visit to the village at leisure. After lunch, you'll have free time in either Kasbah Air Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate. Then, you'll drive past the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the Berber village of Agdez, and the Draa Valley. It has hundreds of thousands of date palms. The Draa Valley is the most important date palm plantation in Morocco. We arrive in Zagora late afternoon to prepare for a camel trek in the desert. We will watch a spectacular sunset. Then, we will return to our desert camp for a Moroccan dinner. There will be drums and entertainment under the stars.

After an early wake-up for a camel ride a sunrise watch, and a Moroccan breakfast, leave for Ouarzazate. There, visit Taourirt Kasbah before enjoying lunch at a relaxed pace. Then, continue back to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You will arrive at your hotel or riad in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
