After an early breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, your driver/guide will pick you up at 7:30. He speaks English. This will allow enough time to reach Merzouga to see the sunset.

We begin our journey through the Atlas Mountains, past Tizi Ntichka Pass. We will pass various Berber villages with houses made of stone and mud. You immediately notice that life here never changed centuries ago! Most of the locals are shepherds.

We continue to Ouarzazate, then to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. There, you will have lunch before visiting the Kasbah. This UNESCO World Heritage site was a set for many Hollywood films and fashion shoots. The Kasbah is well preserved. It is a single unit of various, packed-together Kasbahs and the Skoura oasis, famous for its date palms.

the Valley of the Roses to Kalaa Mgouna. You might visit a rosewater cooperative. There, locals make perfumes from distilled rosewater. We arrive in Boumalne Dades late in the afternoon, and your driver will take you to your riad or hotel.

After an early hotel breakfast, you will enjoy a stunning journey. It will include the amazing Tinghir Oasis. You can walk the Todgha River bank, visit Berber villages, and explore the Todgha Gorge. You will also learn about the locals' way of life. Continue to the stunning Todgha Valley. Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local café. In the afternoon, we will drive along the desert road to the Merzouga Desert. Your tour guide is in the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy a camel ride before sunset to experience the desert. After a quick break, get ready for a stunning sunset camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the colorful sunset we've been discussing. Then, go to your Sahara Desert camp. Get ready for dinner under the stars while enjoying the drumming of local Bedouins. Spend the night at your Sahara Desert camp in Merzouga.

After an early breakfast at your hotel in the Merzouga desert, your driver will pick you up at 08:00. He speaks English. This will give you time to see the sights. Drive on through thousands of towering palm trees and kasbahs from Erfoud. Then, cross the Ziz River. Continue to Midelt, where you will stop for lunch.

We will cross the Saiss plains to the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. They are past Ifrane and Azrou. You may spot Barbary monkeys on the roadside and stop for some photos.

After a quick break, we will continue to Fez. We may arrive in the late afternoon, and your driver will take you to your riad or hotel. This is the end of your three-day private desert tour from Marrakech to Fez.
