Your 3-day shared desert tour from Marrakech to Fez begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the picturesque High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, taking in panoramic views and traditional Berber villages. Upon arrival at the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, meet your local guide for an in-depth exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous as the setting for many famous films. After lunch in Ouarzazate, drive through the enchanting Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival and fragrant landscapes. Continue towards the lush Dadès Valley, passing through the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs”. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel nestled in the valley.

After breakfast, explore the breathtaking landscape of the Dades Gorge before heading to Tinghir. There, meet your local guide and enjoy a one-hour walk through a green oasis surrounded by palm trees and traditional mud-brick villages.
Explore the majestic cliffs of the Todra Gorge and have a leisurely lunch in Tinghir, sampling local Moroccan cuisine. Continue to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival, you will have time to prepare for a sunset camel ride and take stunning photos of the desert landscape. In the afternoon, take a camel ride through the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Arrive at your camp in the Sahara Desert for a traditional Moroccan dinner, music around the campfire and a night under the starry desert sky.

After breakfast, ride back to Merzouga on the camel. There you will meet your new driver for Fez, while most of the group returns to Marrakech. Drive through the Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves and Berber villages, and across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch in the apple-producing town of Midelt.
